Leo is a bright, energetic 4-year-old boy who loves playing with his toy trucks and running around with his golden retriever, Buster. Recently, our world was turned upside down when Leo was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect. His doctors have advised that he needs immediate, specialized open-heart surgery to repair the valves and ensure he can grow up healthy and strong. While we have some health insurance, it does not cover the specialized out-of-state care, travel expenses, and the intense post-operative physical therapy Leo will require over the next six months.
